The story of Cinderella is such a well-known classic which passed down to generations. These scenes of splendor not only impressed the prince but also delighted the princess dreams of girls.

"Cinderella" was first made into the ballet production at 1815, and the Cinderella ballet music that we often hear was wrote by the Russian composer Sergey Sergeyevich Prokofiev at 1944. From then on, artists around the world were creating the Cinderella production all around his music edition. However, there was still no original production of Cinderella at China.

All these ballet productions of Cinderella were also famed just like the original fairy tale. This time, a brand new Cinderella production would be brought to you by our Suzhou Ballet Theatre. Our audience would not only be entertained by the facetious performance also would be touched by the purity and innocent beauty of Cinderella. The expressionistic scenery is impressive and the costume all would definitely delight your childhood. This ballet production of Cinderella is going to be the FIRST original production in China.

Chinese Ballet still needs more original productions. It does not only include using ballet to tell the Chinese stories. Using Chinese ballet to tell the Western stories is our creativity which challenge and present the western traditions in the other way of splendor. By using the contrast which put both cultures at the same level to stimulate the development of Chinese Ballet is the goal that we followed by years, and is also the honor and trust that our audience brought to us!
